Solution

In version 6008 a new property was added in vdRenderGlobalProperties named PickAdd.

Controls whether a user  selection action replace the current selection set (is false) or add to it (true).

If value is false:The objects most recently selected by the user become the selection set. Previously selected objects are removed from the selection set. Add more objects to the selection set by pressing SHIFT while selecting.

If value is true:Each object(s) selected, is added to the current selection set. To remove objects from the set, press SHIFT while selecting.

Default value is true.
