A new value AutoNormal was added in VectorDraw.vRender.vdRender.HatchingMethod enum type for the vdHatchProperties HatchMode property :
By seting the value to VectorDraw.vRender.vdRender.HatchingMethod.AutoNormal in HatchMode property for a solid filled 3d polyline gives better results.
