Solution

A new method vdcanvas.scriptCommand.join was added in version 11.4.5
Example :
vdcanvas.scriptCommand.select(null, function (_vdcanvas) { vdcanvas.scriptCommand.join() });

prompt the user to select entities and join them if posible

Supports join between lines , arcs and standard polylines (SPlineFlag == vdConst.SplineFlagSTANDARD)
Entities that joind with other entities , creates new polylines that added to the Active Layout Entities collection.
entities that produce joineds are mark as deleted
The procedure is added to the UndoHistory.
vdcanvas.scriptCommand.join returns the number of new added joind polylines
